A flicker of blurred landscapes – repeatedly interrupted by the silhouette of a decayed munitions depot, a mute relic of World War II, hidden deep within the forest. Without plaques, without words – only concrete remnants, already reclaimed by nature.
The place carries an unease within, manifesting like an echo of the past. The experimental film “Im Dickicht” approaches this space with an aesthetic of alienation and abstraction, evoking a latent discomfort. The title refers to the forest as a metaphor for the complexity of human perception and finds its reflection in the layering of image and sound.
