With the intention of reintroducing cinematographic culture to Cerveira, the “Frames” section proposes some of the most celebrated works from the last five decades by directors such as Akira Kurosawa, Andrei Tarkovsky and Francis Ford Coppola, among many others. This section represents a pedagogical investment in developing a cultural audience for the Seventh Art in Cerveira.

Also featured are national auteur filmmakers such as Miguel Gomes, with his latest work, and Sérgio Tréfaut, jury member of the festival’s 1st edition.
